Overview & Policies

Overview:

Dr. Aguilar accepts PPO insurance only.  She will accept cash payments if no insurance is provided.

Policies:

1.  Patients are responsible for any required co-pay at time of service.  Please be prepared to make this payment.

2.  Patients are responsible for all fees NOT covered by insurance policies.  These services are not always immediately known to the doctor or her staff at the time of your service.  It is the patients responsibility to check with their insurance provider PRIOR to a scheduled visit to make sure coverage is provided.

3.  Patients are required to pay any outstanding balance that has not yet been paid to Dr. Aguilar after 90 days.  Sometimes, insurance companies delay or reject payments to the doctor (for numerous reasons) and this causes delinquencies on patient accounts.  If you are not sure if you have an outstanding balance, please call Dr. Aguilar's office PRIOR to your scheduled visit and her staff will be happy to inform you of this amount (if it exists).

4.  You will be asked to show your current insurance card and your current address at each visit to Dr. Aguilar's office.  We apologize for any inconvenience, but as insurance providers change their policies, we must adapt and meet insurance provider requirements.

5.  If you cannot present a valid insurance card at the time of your visit, you will be charged for the services renedered in full.  You can bill your insurance provider directly for payment.

6.  Any service rendered by the doctor is owed to the doctor regardless of time lapsed.  Third party billing frequently causes delays in payments made to the doctor.  This delay does not negate payments due.
